How to Install designate-api software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

designate-api software package provides OpenStack DNS as a Service - API server, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install designate-api 

designate-api is installed in your system.

Make ensure the designate-api package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep designate-api *

You will get with designate-api package name, version, architecture and description in a table
